2. Our two roles
For the contact details of people at your company who get in touch with us or use our service, we act as data controller. When we process merchant catalogue data on your behalf as part of the onboarding service, we act as data processor for your platform, and the parties will sign a data processing agreement where the GDPR requires it.
3. Data we process
- Business contact details: name, company, role, email and phone.
- Request details: the merchant URLs you send us, your message and your preferences.
- Merchant catalogue data published on the merchants' online shops: product names, prices, currency, categories, attributes and images. This is mainly business data; where it includes personal data (for example, a sole trader's name), we process it only to provide the service.
- Records of merchant consent, where applicable.
- Account and usage data for users of Loveo Connect, and browsing data on this website (IP address, device, pages visited).
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Answering enquiries, free catalogue trials and calls — legal basis: legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps.
- Providing the onboarding and catalogue maintenance service and invoicing for it — legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Sending business communications about our service — legal basis: legitimate interest; you can object at any time.
- Site analytics — legal basis: consent (cookies).
- Meeting legal, accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.
5. Retention
We keep contact data while we have a business relationship and afterwards for the applicable legal periods (generally 6 years for commercial and tax records). Catalogue data processed on your behalf is kept for the term of the contract and then deleted or returned as agreed with you.
6. Recipients
We may share data with providers acting as sub-processors: hosting and database, email tools, meeting scheduling, and analytics. Some providers may be located outside the EEA; in that case European Commission standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards apply. We do not sell personal data.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@loveoo.app. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access or alteration, including encryption in transit and access control.
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
