How it works · Evidence
How Loveo turns a shop URL into a catalogue, and how well it works.
Loveo extracts the product catalogue from an independent merchant's website and returns it in a platform's format within minutes. This page explains the process and the measurements behind it.
Summary
- 85% of the last 295 shops came out automatically on the first attempt, with no configuration.
- 956 extraction catalogues are in production. None of them was written by hand.
- Of 1.07M active products, 97% have name, price and currency.
- Of 1.07M active products, 83% have an image.
- About one in seven shops needs human review or fails.
The process
Step 1. The merchant or the platform provides the URL of the merchant's online shop.
Step 2. Loveo extracts every product and normalises the fields: name, price, currency, category, attributes, images and product code when available.
Step 3. The catalogue is mapped to the platform's format and delivered as a file, feed or API. Every record carries its capture date.
The merchant does no work. There is no per-site configuration.

Real-world scale
The same pipeline covers 1,100 independent shops in Madrid and 1.07M active products.
Limits
The merchant needs an online shop. Without a website there is nothing to extract.
About one in seven shops needs human review or fails.
83% of active products have an image overall; 58% on custom-built sites.
Restaurant menus are not what this is built for.
Prices are the prices published on the merchant's site at capture time, not real-time inventory.
